While working for the previous company (Steets), we were developing a new website for Johannus, a Dutch organ manufacturer. I was in charge of information architecture as well as creating user interfaces based on art director guidelines.
The new website must be more structured and simplified than the previous one so that maintenance is quicker and the client can easily add new models and manage the information.
To demonstrate the new structure and approach for new features, a sitemap and wireframes were developed. Involving the client in the process enabled us to determine what valuable content needs to be shared and how to present the products in the best way to increase sales. After the first phase was completed and approved, I was given the house style for the company and started working on the user interface.
A new user interface was created for the customer, displaying their products in an entirely new light. However, implementation is still ongoing.
